I found out about them because, apparently species dysphoria is a "MUD"

in concept, MUDs are a good thing, they describe experiences that could be considered disordered and such. I even identify myself as a few MUDs, But the thing is.. apparently theyre a radqueer term.

Radqueer also sounds good in context, until you realize that they support things like transrace, transrapist, transharmful, and believe transspecies and transgender is transID, or radqueer. They also believe that paraphilias, mostly the controversial ones, are apart of the LGBTQ+, in which they are not as they have their own community.

Im currently anti-radqueer, Ive done my research about the community, even been in it for a while, and have formed my current opinion on it. I do agree with terms in the community, and most terms are valid, but i do not want to be associated with a community that thinks that paraphilias are LGBTQ+ or that transrace, transabled, transspecies, etc is LGBTQ+. I personally believe that paraphilias are their own community, transrace is their own community.. which could be radqueer or RCTA, transabled is their own community (which is BIID or Factious Disorder), and transspecies is alterhuman. I do not believe that transspecies, transabled, or paraphilias are radqueer.

Back to MUDs, specifically species dysphoria. I fully believe that species dysphoria is 100% a real thing, as i experience it. But i do not believe it is a MUD. I do not believe species dysphoria is associated with radqueer in anyway or anyform.

What does that mean for species dysphoria? It means its just.. species dysphoria. Sure, it can be alterhuman because it is 100%, but were also talking about a form of dysphoria, and other forms of dysphorias are medically recognized. Species dysphoria has yet to be medically recognized.

By definition, species dysphoria would be a MUD, since it is medically unrecognized. But the fact that MUDs are radqueer doesnt feel correct.

I really like the concept of MUDs, I like that you can find an experience with a MUD, but i do not like that it is radqueer. And i am just wondering if theres another community like this that isnt radqueer.

(EDIT): I researched around and have seemed to realize that MUDs are, pseudoscience, according to this wiki article. Not at all saying that pseudoscience is a bad thing, but just to add on. The main way i found out about MUDs is this, this, and this archives. I have seen that MUDs "arent" radqueer, but i still do not feel comfortable with them, since ive seen most radqueers that ive interacted with consider MUDs as radqueer.
